Global Sports Chaplaincy conference – Glocal

Sports Chaplaincy UK together with the Global Sports Chaplaincy Association announce the first ever Global Sports Chaplaincy Conference – Glocal.

Join with Sports Chaplains from the UK as well as around the world in 2020, to explore themes that impact us all.

‘Glocal’ is about the connection of the global and the local. Theologically it describes something of the power of the incarnation and the Father’s heart. God holds the ultimate view of the universe and world that He has created. When He chose to come alongside us in Jesus Christ, He “moved into the neighbourhood” (John 1:14 – The Message).

The conference will bring together great speakers and leaders. They will help us explore, train and reflect, as well as be inspired in our work as Sports Chaplains.

The Glocal conference happens in England, Tuesday 6 October to Wednesday 7 October 2020. Following this will be two days of personal and professional development for chaplains.

So be sure to mark your diaries for this event. More information will follow.
