This is the second half of SCNZ’s Four Phase training, and it is preferable to have completed Phases 1 and 2 before attending this training. Phase 1 explores the Biblical basis and critical elements of Sports Chaplaincy, while Phase 2 places particular emphasis on pastoral care. Four Phase training is especially relevant for those who wish to serve formally as a Sports Chaplain.

Each topic includes a Learning Capture, where time is provided for you to reflect on your learning as well as its application for you.

Once you have completed all four phases, you may apply to become an accredited Sports Chaplain.
